Certification & declaration CU TR (EAEU)

TECHNICAL REGULATIONS

The following Customs Union Technical Regulation are in force for the industrial equipment:

  • CU TR 010/2011 On safety of machinery and equipment
  • CU TR 032/2013 On safety of equipment working under pressure
  • CU TR 016/2011 On safety of apparatuses working on gaseous fuel
  • CU TR 004/2011 On safety of low voltage equipment
  • CU TR 020/2011 Electromagnetic compatibility of technical devices
  • CU TR 012/2011 On safety of equipment intended for use in explosive atmospheres

DECLARATION/CERTIFICATE OF CONFORMITY

The only document that confirms the equipment compliance with the requirements of Customs Union Technical Regulation is CU TR (EAEU) declaration of conformity or certificate of conformity.

Thus, equipment delivered to the Eurasion Economic Union, as well as the equipment produced on its territory, must have valid and correct certificates (declarations).

There is the unique base of all declarations and certificates issued for all Customs Union Technical Regulations. The base is open to public, so any person can check all the information about the certificate/declaration on-line, if he knows the document number or equipment manufacturer/applicant for the certification/declaration.

The applicant for the CU TR (EAEU) declaration/certification can be only the resident of Eurasian Economic Union. That is why foreign manufacturers have to make contracts with companies registered on the territory of the Eurasian Economic Union (the information about the possible applicants for the certification/declaration are described in each Customs Union Technical Regulations). The necessity to find the applicant makes the process of certification/ declaration often difficult to the foreign manufacturer. On the other hand, the existence of the company responsible for the equipment conformity on the territory of Eurasian Economic Union to obligatory requirements is easy and convenient for governmental bodies to make supervision of the equipment, and, as a result, safer for the final users.
